You sound like a fellow Dark Shadows fan Alicia. I remember seeing a few shows late at night as a kid and thought Barnabas was such a suave dude. I don’t think I’ve got enough space in my little head to start a different series. Maybe you should write some Dark Shadows stories!
I would not presume to pick up that mantle!! But I’ll say that movie version starring a certain pirate-y fellow can’t hold a candle to the original series. I’m also a big Kolchak fan - there needed to be more of those for sure.

Poor misunderstood Barnabas. This would make a good longer story - the characters might be immortal! I think you might be onto something with the journalist & his reluctant vampire. (Tiny quibble - it's altar boy, not alter )
